Once again we spent the day in hospital with my mother. At the moment her body is showing signs of recovery, however what we really need to see is signs of recovery from the stroke, which so far have been minimal.
The good news is her heart rate is looking more regular and she breathes on her own. Her movement is minimal however, and we don’t know exactly how conscious she exactly is.
Our main focus now is being with her every day, holding her hand and seeing if her mind will repair. It could take a long time, so patience is the main ingredient (plus all of your wonderful prayers and love – thank you!).
I will report again later in the week as I can.
Thank you,
Yaro and on behalf of Phil.

Dear Yaro
I just saw your tweet about spending long hours at the hospital, and wanted to leave you a message here. I’m so sorry to read about your mother’s stroke, and I wanted to send all positive thoughts to you both and her partner. Your mention of spending time in the hospital reminded me of when my father had cancer and was nil by mouth for nearly 4 months and I made daily visits (one of the major bonuses of working for myself meant that I could organise my own time, as I’m sure you’re grateful for being able to do now too). There are no adequate words, but I hope it will help to know that my father pulled through, pretty much against all the odds, and it was said in no small part to our daily visits and simply us being there – together with his innate curiosity and love of life, which I’m sure your mother possesses in bucketfulls too. Anyway, I just felt compelled to leave a message for you and send you my very best wishes at this time.
Praying for God’s mercy and healing hand for your mom, and for peace that passes all understanding for you and Phil. God’s Grace is awesome.
Sorry to hear about your mum Yaro, Zahava, I wish you a speedy recovery. I’m not sure about the longterm effects of a stroke, but i hope you recover as fully as possible.
Thank you so much for keeping all of us (including me) updated on Zahava’s progress. She is a very special person and all my healing energy and prayers are with her and all of you.
Much love to you all
Patricia
Yaro, positive thoughts that your Mom continues to show signs of recovery. I’ve been through it with my Mom, so I am heartfelt with you here. Best wishes that she flashes her beautiful smile at you soon! Paula
Hello Yaro,
Sorry to hear that your mother suffered a stroke. I hope she gets better. My thoughts and prayers will be with you. Take care and I wish you well.
Yours sincerely,
Rick Resch
Sorry to her about Zahava. I am praying for her and for all her family. She is a special person.
Wow Yaro, I just saw your post and — above all else — am holding knowing thoughts your mom can heal from this if she wants to.
I love what Dr. John DeMartini says: “Incurable means ‘curable from within’.”
Of course, that may not make this process much easier for you, so you’ve got my healing intentions every bit as much as your mom does.
Peace to you both…
Sunni

Hi Guys,
Felt compelled to leave a message, your mother has helped me a lot over the past year and I hope to see her improving as quickly as possible. Sounds like she has all the company and care needed at this time, so with that I hope to read a blog in the near future telling of her positive and sucsessful recovery.
Take care and best wishes.
